Jeff Lisandro
Born in Perth, Jeff Lisandro is a renowned poker player in the international circuit. Though he did not win any bracelet before 2007 in World Series of Poker, he was considered amongst the finest player in poker world. He started his carrier as an investor of the real estate. Later on, he chose poker games and for his calm style, earned the nick of “The Iceman” 
from his compatriots. It has been more than a decade since Jeff became a part of the industry.
Winning the Crown Summer Week Pot Limit Omaha in the year of 2000, Jeff Lisandro earned a lot of respect from his fellow competitors. Later in 2000, he finished third in couple of tournaments: Australian Poker Championship No Limit Hold’em and Australian Poker Championship Pot Limit Draw High. After winning the Australian Classic in 2002, his popularity soared to another level. He also won the 2003 Five Diamond – WPT Season 2. Though the period from 2004 to 2007 was not that good for him, yet he had good finishes, including a third in the Australian Classics in the year 2005.
Even after several bad patches, he did not give up. He bounced back during the mid of 2007. At this time, he won his first WSOP Bracelet by coming up ahead in the USD 2,000 Seven Card Stud Event. He got yet another victory in the USD 1,500 Seven Card event in 2009.
Jeff Lisandro has won nine tournaments till date. His total WSOP winnings are over USD 2.5 millions. He has won a total of four WSOP bracelets. His overall winnings exceed USD 4 millions. He is the champion of Seven Card Razz. Again, in 2009, he received the WSOP Player of the Year Award.
