If you are looking at the Dutch Poker star, Lex Veldhuis, you are sighting one of the most well behaved players in the game. He started playing the game of poker at a very early age. He was neither favoured by his hands or by the luck and the result was quite obvious.

In 2007 USD 5000 Pot Limit Hold’em WSOP, he finished thirty-fifth. After several bad patches, he came back to the winning track from 2009. It was on this year he finished seventh in No Limit Hold’em 40th Anniversary event. In October 2009, he also finished seventh in a USD 10,000 No Limit Hold’em Event. Being a player of good temperament, he is also recognised as a strategic player

Even though he has made several outstanding performances, he has not won any of the tournaments. He has come very close several times, but has lost the title at the last moment. His biggest earning came during the 40th WSOP event, where he finished with USD 277,940. Till date, his total earnings add up to around USD 546,347. He is famed in the poker world because of finishing eight in the Dutch Open 2008. Playing with more passion, he will earn more fame and money in the coming years.
