Born in Madison, Wisconsin, 40 year old Phil Hellmuth has already got an amazing 10 World Series of Poker bracelets tucked up neatly under his belt. He is in fact tied with other prominent legends, Johnny Chan and Doyle Brunson, who too have won ten titles each. He is considered one of the most naturally talented of all poker players and being an incredible competitor.
One of the most accomplished players in the circuit, he grabbed attention when aged just 24 he bagged the first of his World Series of Poker titles. He continued to win titles on a regular basis after this and became one of the most popular of all poker players. He went on to win the ‘Best All- Around Tournament Poker Player in the World’ title in 1996. He is one of the youngest poker players to achieve this honor. His high levels of energy and rather unique table manners too contribute to a certain mystique about him.
