Considered amongst the greatest players of the century, Stu Ungar is a renowned poker player hailing from New York City. He won a local tournament when he was only 10. After this win, he got attracted to the poker game. Thus, there was no doubt when he ended up choosing it as his carrier. He was a part of the game for about thirty-five years. After this, he was unable to win a tournament for a long time. In 1991, he ended at ninth in seventh events of WSOP seven card studs. From this performance, he gained confidence. However, his end days were as remarkable as the middle period of his career.

He has won seven bracelets. He won more than USD 2-millions. He is the player, who has won the main event at WSOP thrice. Stu Ungar has also won the Amarillo Slim Super Bowl of Poker three times.
